Hello any students applying to transfer to University of Michigan winter 2025 can discuss their applied program, stats, and share information in this chat for this year.
Does receiving a letter to update to the next term in the rejection letter for the last cycle mean that the applicant has a higher chance of getting in this cycle?
I believe so as long as you maintain your academic standard for the latest term.
What college and program did you apply to
lsa ds and math
Yes, that means they are interested in you but want to see more coursework. This happened to my sister and she got in next semester
CoE transfer from MSU

Applied sometime in August
I’m CoE transfer applicant too. What engineering program did you applied to.

If your status in state as a Michigan residence and maybe a little extra curricular it is like a guarantee
not a guarantee as cs tho. they alr have a small set of spots and cc is being prioritized
I always don’t know how they count students as cc. I was a full time student at a Canadian Uni for my freshmen year. This fall term of my sophomore year I switch to part time taking only one course at the Canadian Uni and four online important transferable courses at a Michigan community college. Do I count as a Michigan Community college student in the eye of the admission? I also joined this CC during the summer with one completed course during the summer as well.
if you’re not fully enrolled as cc students, I don’t think they’ll count you as one
Update: got admitted to CoE at 2:00 today
congrats, do you know when you received your portal after you applied
I had my portal complete since August 7th
holy instate students are so fast.
Well my portal has technically been open since March. I was rejected last term and did a request to update, so I was prob one of the first people admitted
