There is no way the decisions will be released after Friday because on the UM-Admissions twitter page they tweeted that it will be released BEFORE the 24th.
Do URM usually have a better shot at being admitted EA? I read a couple articles stating that Michigan is seeking to diversify in terms of ethnicity and income
@ScienceGeek99 @anxious99 seems like they dropped the ball on early action applicants at uchicago. Best of luck to the both of you for Michigan! Hope we find out soon to lighten our disappointment.

Hey, everyone. Freshman at Michigan here. Just wanted to spread some hope and light during this difficult and undoubtedly stressful time. I remember frantically reading these threads about a year ago at this time, waiting anxiously for EA decisions to come out. I was deferred, and devastated. I didn’t think I had a chance at getting in. Listen. I promise you that you do. A ton of people get deferred and then accepted. Let me give you some tips: find your regional admissions counselor and get in contact with them, and then write a letter expressing how much you want to be at this university. send in your first semester grades, especially if they’re strong. They can really help an application. Also send in any new accomplishments since you first submitted; anything that will strengthen your application. Do not lose hope. Best of luck, everyone. He was wondering why so many other people (the ones that cannot afford it) applied this year. You asserting that you are rich does not aid the conversation at all. Too bad your parents weren’t willing to put any of that $400k towards reading comp. exercises for you…

Hi, I’m a prospective international student from New Delhi, India. Does anyone know if the decisions will be released region wise? If yes, do international applicants generally get their decision closer to Saturday as opposed to on Tuesday (during the first wave)?
