@JacobsCreek Decisions are speculated to come out today around 3-4 pm eastern time based on the other comments on this thread, but really we could all be wrong and they could come out “sometime this week” as admissions officers have stated.
@Biryani2017 I don’t think decision release is region wise. I am pretty sure it just depends on how early or late the officers make a decision on your application. So if you are lucky, you will see a decision at around 3 pm today eastern time and if not, you will just see one later this week. you should obtain your decision before the 24th for sure.
Wow! All Aspiring Scholar said was “My parents make 400K+ a year so yea we can afford it.” and somehow this is offensive? We live in a democracy that operates on free market principles. And the people that make 400K a year pay ALOT of taxes that goes to support many of those “free” benefits that those less fortunate benefit from. Yeah, let’s shame the guy who mentions how much his parents make, who I am sure work hard for their money and are very smart. I mean really, isn’t this why most of the overachieving people on this board want to go to college and better themselves. In order to be successful, makes lots of money AND make a difference in this world.

This is my first choice school and I called admissions a couple days ago and they said my “application is still under review” is that a bad thing??? Or just a generic answer?
@petethegreek…wow surprised you like both schools UMich and UChic…such different feels to me.
Went to UChic thinking it would be perfect ended up hating it. UMich Wolverines is a perfect fit for me.

Well for certain…nobody knows but the chances are good that we hear today!
Good luck everyone…we are all nervous…will we be classmates? will we be waiting longer and be deferred? will we be crushed with defeat knowing we will never be a Wolverine? All is possible at this moment because not one of us knows the answer.

@badkevin Yes, results are predicted to start coming out today and will most likely continue to do so through the week. (Letters are released in batches to prevent the portal from crashing.)
Anyone else think that it’s silly they can’t just include decisions in the email they send out? Like they send an email to check the portal, but wouldn’t they not need to worry about the portal crashing if they just had the decision in the email? Seems so extra to me.
@JPGator98 Oh my mistake. In that case, why would they really need to stagger decisions? Like the staggering is make sure the portal is stable, so there’s not much point if the decision is already in the email
