Hi,
I don’t think I will be able to match my conditional for a few of my better UK offers, as I had fallen ill during the middle of my ISC board exams. It seriously affected two of my papers. Do you think there’s anyway the uni’s would listen to this? I have medical certificates from my doctors
At the least, it will matter how much you miss them by.

They may. Contact them and see.
how would you guys draft your email? I’m getting stuck on the wording because i don’t want to come off sounding anything but sincere.

I think I would wait until you have got the actual results - you never know, you may not have done as badly as you think.
I would probably explain factually what happened, and attach the medical certificates and get your teacher to confirm that you were expected to get [required grade] and they believe you would have done so if not for your illness. Then ask if they would be willing to admit you even though you missed the requirement by [whatever you missed it by].
But don’t try too hard to “sound sincere” because that will probably mean you won’t.
