Last year, it was released on 1/27, last Friday or Jan. If they follow the timing, it should be this Friday.

Well there could be a suprise, but I don’t think it is to early to post since it will be mid-day on Friday. They will probably repost it again tomorrow and right before it comes out.

Hello everyone! UNC is my top choice but I’m scared I won’t get in because I’m oos and my gpa isn’t that competitive (3.97+). Here are my stats:
Major: Biology (premed track)
UW: 3.91
W: 4.82
Test Optional
9 APs and 4 dual enrollment classes
Currently taking Calc 3 and other higher level courses.
ECs:
-varisty dance team
-hospital internship
-hosa president, finalist for a comp every year
-debate president
-founded mathletes club
-tutoring club president
-leadership for religious club
Awards:
-gold pvsa
-ranked 1st in national quiz bowl comp
-ranked 2nd in national science fair comp
-ap scholar with honor
-6 honor societies
I also did independent research as well and discussed that in my supplemental essay.
I believe that being oos is a big disadvantage. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, but we all know it’s UNC and it might reject tons fabulous applicants bc they don’t have enough space

Well I think you have a shot. GPA is good and extracurriculars are amazing. Still probably under 25% chance though, things are just so competitive.
While being OOS is a big disadvantage (5% acceptance vs. 40% for in-state), no one here can really chance you. You have a very competitive profile but it all depends on what they are looking for in a given year. You have done all you can from your end and now it is out of your hands. Best of luck to you!!
