Wow, thatās big! Congrats, yes UNC should be up there for you to consider.
Congratulations!! Can you summarize what it says - UNC to the best of my memory has never sent out likely letters so that is pretty cool!
It was just a normal likely letter but they put a little in about my eagle scout award and violin stuff that I do. I would copy and paste but it is a piece of postal mail. I will try and type some of it up later after I finish my homework.

I have no idea why they picked me. I am on the lower end for OOS students (33 ACT, 3.94) and my extracurriculars are strong, but not crazy strong. Thinking it might have helped that I am first gen but not sure.

Good question. I wonder how common likely letters are for UNC? I had the impression that they were most common with recruited athletes, but I could be wrong about that.

I donāt know why they sent it to me. I am not a recruited athlete.
I donāt think they only send them to recruited athletes ā just thatās not uncommon for athletes to get likely letters. Iām thinking you really stood out overall holistically ā and they appreciated your work with scouts and musical talent. They have some excellent scholarships for musicians. You may want to take a look at that if you havenāt already. Congrats!!

I donāt think so. They tend to announce a few days before they come out, and they have not yet. But maybe!
