no last year they came out the same day, i watched someone open both on the same day. the dates listed on their websites from last year may have been different, but they both for sure came out on the same day

The issue is UNC consistently announces a date and then doesnāt adhere to it (usually early) so it starts speculation. If they always announced a date and stuck to it - this wouldnāt be a thing.

but they typically release decisions before that date. some people got emails from a coalition from carolina group and it confirmed decisions are coming out today

They actually say āby January 31stā not on January 31st. They have released before the stated date for many years.

I think it was the same last year (1/31), and decisions were released on 1/26/2024.

Idk if College Confidential knows anything, but in the blue box at the top it says the schools that are releasing today and UNC is listed - for what thatās worth!
