no last year they came out the same day, i watched someone open both on the same day. the dates listed on their websites from last year may have been different, but they both for sure came out on the same day

they did announce the date…it’s on their website…it says January 31
The issue is UNC consistently announces a date and then doesn’t adhere to it (usually early) so it starts speculation. If they always announced a date and stuck to it - this wouldn’t be a thing.

but they typically release decisions before that date. some people got emails from a coalition from carolina group and it confirmed decisions are coming out today

If the information is NOT straight from the office of admissions… I am NOT going to believe it…to much mis information out there…however…hoping decisions will be released today

They actually say “by January 31st” not on January 31st. They have released before the stated date for many years.

I think it was the same last year (1/31), and decisions were released on 1/26/2024.

Idk if College Confidential knows anything, but in the blue box at the top it says the schools that are releasing today and UNC is listed - for what that’s worth!

I am local in Chapel Hill. From my immediate contacts very highly likely it will be released today. Fingers crossed
