We are still waiting here too!
This is the only school my daughter applied to and has not heard from. She applied in early October so this is the longest EA wait ever. Checked her portals again yesterday and nothing so with the weekend and studying for her exams she will not check again until Tuesday but I am starting to think this one might go right to the January 30th deadline to hear back.
@MinnieFan hopefully not much longer. UNCC was also my daughter’s last decision. She applied in September and just heard back a couple of weeks ago. I feel your pain…good luck to your daughter.
@ljasnau thank you for the good wishes! At this point I have just told myself she will hear on January 30 and then if sooner it will be a happy surprise! Well hopefully happy?
We are still waiting as well. I guess the decision will go all the way up into Jan. 30th. I read somewhere that last year, decisions or most portal changes happened the Friday before. I hope that’s the case here. This is the only school my daughter is waiting on to give her a decision. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!
I applied Jan 15th and have already been decisioned. 2 friends of mines that also did EA are still waiting. That’s really strange. Maybe it’s just the way they do things at the Admissions offices?
I applied on October 28 and was decisioned in early November…that is strange. It might be a departmental difference or an Admissions mix-up/delay.
Applied Oct. 30 and FINALLY decisioned today! Lets hope its a good one.

My letter just came in today! Accepted! Decisions should be coming in soon! Pay attention to those mailboxes!
@needhalc My son’s was decisioned on the 24th as well, but still no letter in the mail, nor on the portal. He’s stressing me out. LOL Hope we hear today. He did get an acceptance to UNCG, but UNCC is his first choice.
Has anyone still waiting heard about acceptance today? We went to accepted students day last week and were told that Honors Program applicants will find out Feb 1
My daughter checked the portal January 30th and she was accepted! Decision changed sometime between Monday and a Thursday but it did come in by the 30th…barely! Long time from early October submittal until then.

DD20 is a Niner! Excited to move on to planning for move in, etc.
I see that last year the tuition amount for the NC University system was decided and approved on 3/22/2019. Anyone hearing anything in the local newspapers about when that might happen this year? We are really hoping the OOS increase is not unusually high due to all that is going on in the world. Not surprised that approval has not yet happened but hoping for the best when it does.
