My daughter rejected In-state, Wake County. BFF also rejected but 2 other friends accepted with ACT scores of 32 and higher. UNC-CH was the ONLY in-state school she would have considered. Happy she has 6 other OOS choices. She was surprised she got rejected given her accepted friends scores but said “This takes the pressure off because now I know I’ll be going OOS”. Congratulations to all accepted and good luck.

@oosbound I’d also like to know more about Global Launch. My D20 was accepted IS, but her friend was offered Global Launch. I’ve never heard of it before. Do you go abroad first semester and are guaranteed spring admission? Or is spring admission contingent on your grades abroad?
