How do you get the password to get on Connect Carolina. Have the ONYEN. But need a password
I completely agree. My husband and I are both UNC grads from in state and my daughter is a sophomore currently. She and I both pledged as freshman but I agree most of my friendships are from sophomore year and beyond. My daughter has no contact with freshman roommate or suite-mates. Everyone is finding themselves as freshman. The study abroad group would be a tight nit group. However, for in state students it would be much cheaper to sophomore transfer. I started my professional program my junior year and was there for 5 years and my husband for 6. Of all my Carolina friends only a couple are from my freshman year.
Has anyone applied for the Global Launch program yet? if you are planning on it, how long do you plan on working on your essays? Please let me know if anyone has applied yet.
Were people notified with their acceptance if they got into the Undergraduate Assured Enrollment Program for the Business school?
Anyone knows when the result of the honors program will be out?
Someone said it should come with the admissions packet but I really don’t know for sure
I called admissions and they said that notifications will be sent out on a rolling basis for Pogue, study abroad fellowship, Honors College, and Excel programs and all will be notified by Friday. No email = not accepted.
We’d be delighted if our son is lucky enough to have been placed in the honors program. He’s super excited about the acceptance. I have maybe a half dozen friends on the faculty there. One of my favorite universities and college towns to visit. Looking forward to when they post information on admit orientations.

When will they start to send out those scholarships and honor program?

@mimioc213 thanks for the heads up! Other than asking for the credit card during application time and discussing where he wanted to apply/why it was a good fit/whether we could afford, my son totally controls his admissions process (we don’t mind in the least!) so my wife and I often are on a need to know basis. Probably one of the reasons that I’ve turned to CC. Armed with this information, I’ll query him tonight. 
If my financial aid offer indicates an “Academic Scholarship”, is that the same thing as a merit scholarship?
