@2019puppyluv yeah I think so just because UNC has a great med school as well and is ranked higher than Case western and OSU. I’m actually going to OSU to do research at their college of dentistry this summer!
UNC gives preference to NC residents for med school.

@hbh2017 yeah I’ve heard… but I do want to expand my horizons! I think Case and OSU would accept with open arms again for med school if my stats remain up to par lol
Is anyone else having trouble with the ONYEN? I requested one and haven’t received anything.
Did anyone get an email about financial aid being missing? I sent my FAFSA months ago, and Connect Carolina says it has not been submitted? Is there a possibility it hasn’t been processed by UNC yet?
I did! I’m confused because it says they received my FAFSA in the email but it says they haven’t received it on Connect Carolina. I will probably call them tomorrow @Sofiseahawk

@transferluk @Sofiseahawk I got that e-mail too! I’m really confused though because I sent in my FAFSA in the first week of October. Another phone call I guess.
@Sofiseahawk & @transferluk & @reidtw that maybe means you’re missing a supplementary piece, like I submitted by FAFSA/CSS but need to also send them a waiver for my non custodial parent for CSS which is why I got the email. But also on my Connect Carolina it says I’m missing my FAFSA, so I’m confused
I heard that you have to accept your admissions by a certain date otherwise it gets cancelled…does anyone know when we have to accept it by? Also, is there a way to find out which courses will count for credits that we took at our previous schools?

I got the same email. FAFSA was submitted early February and Chapel Hill is listed on my SAR, so I’m a little confused. Hopefully the email was an error.
@Sofiseahawk same here… and my connect Carolina doesn’t say I have a to do list as they’ve mentioned. Hoping this clears up so I can know my award status soon.

mildly freaking out. almost all of the classes i was planning to take are either filled up or almost filled up. if we can’t register till the 12th, how on earth are we supposed to get into classes??? aaaaaaah
sorry, i misspoke - i was wrong about the 12th. transfer students aren’t 0 terms in residence, since that’s measured by how many of our credits Carolina accepts. but how would they know how many terms in residence we are if they haven’t given us transfer credit evaluations??? are we just gonna have to register dead last? sorry for the freakout but i’m losing my mind
