Our daughter decided she is going to go to UNC and do Global Launch. She really hopes it works out and wants to go to Ireland. But her bottom line is she wants to go to Carolina.
On Friday I called two other schools where she was also accepted and explained her situation — they both said they would take her for a semester if Ireland doesn’t work out. I was impressed by how helpful they were.
It’s a crazy time and my daughter definitely would much rather go to college in the fall and get on with it but if the program is canceled and she goes somewhere else for a semester it will be OK.
