I tutor this boy twice a week (one hour each session) for $20/hour
On my common app, I listed this as one of my jobs…I don’t file taxes.
I get paid “under the table,” but will Yale consider this a REAL job and consider my “salary” with my financial aid application?

a) you and every other person will list “Tutoring, snowplowing, babysitting”
b) how can they possibly find out?.. and it’s not even close to being so impressive that they will care enough to check up on it (by calling ur guidance counselor)
