These schools are very different, what appeals to you about USC? Also saw that you weren’t accepted to USC last year, so with just one semester of college under your belt, I doubt that decision will be different this time around. If you aren’t applying for financial aid that could help.
I’m sorry you are unhappy and you can certainly put some apps in while you continue to try and find your peeps at UNC this coming semester. If you only apply to reaches and/or schools that denied you last year, it is most likely you will be at UNC next fall.
