I will be applying for Spring transfer next year and I am wondering how my unique transcript will be received.

In High School I was in the top 35% of my class out of 528. I had a GPA of 3.2, took all honors and AP courses. I was President of our Service Club, Treasurer of our Thespian Troupe (also in every production, totaling 12), a member of Honors Choir, Jazz Choir, Honors Music Society, Philosophy Club and Our Literary Magazine.

I went on to be accepted as an acting major at DePaul University’s Theatre School (1 out of 50 accepted into the program). I had a difficult year and came out with B’s and transferred into the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I have had straight B’s and B+'s in all my classes. We are on a quarter system.

I haven’t recieved my winter grades yet nor my spring and I’ll be taking summer classes to further boost my GPA(my obviously weakest point).

I’m wondering how one year of strict conservatory classes and a year and a half of liberal arts courses will transfer. And if my drama supplement will weigh their decision. My EC’s in college include volunteer work for OBAMA campaign and with St. Vincent DePaul Society, Philosophy club. I am also a member of a orchestra, take voice lessons and dance classes.

I know UVA is so difficult to get into under any circumstance but with transfers and particularly this unique transfer situation, what are my chances if I do extremely well in my coming quarters?

Any suggestions?
