@PentaDad CSE decides who gets DA AFTER the general admission: so, sometimes the general acceptance letters are prepared before that decision is made. After the general acceptance letter from UW, CSE department sends its own, official DA acceptance e-mail followed by a regular letter at the end of March or first week of April. My D got DA into CS last year, so this is how I know.
That sucks, I figured I got DA but I guess I didn’t. The cse undergrad advisor made it seem like the letter was accurate but @amulyab do you know who you talked to? Did they give you more info about when these letters and emails will be sent?

If the pattern is In-State, OOS, International, then tomorrow will be OOS, right? Unless they don’t post over the weekend, which tbh just seems cruel and unusual…
I hope they at least update over the weekend…that would be really mean

BTW do you know are we getting e-mail form UW?? I heard that we will not get e-mail just mail.
I wish they just did it all at once 
no email unless youre international. everyone uses the portal and the mail
i love this school but i’m trying not to get my hopes up… my gpa is pretty low—especially in comparison to everyone who’s posted their acceptances so far—so what happens, happens, i guess.
@_spiritus I also applied from NJ. The decisions will be mailed to us or we can check the online portal to find out the decision. The only email we will get is if we are waitlisted.
@meltingsoull what are your stats. I am in state, GPA 3.4, SAT 1680. Haven’t heard yet, just the same screen even after updating it a million times since The 15th. I’m scared.

In-state students should be hearing back tonight, out of state students will hear back tomorrow, and then international students will hear back after that. This cycle will most likely continue until the 31.
There is nothing to worry about if you haven’t heard back yet because there has only been one time so far to get a decision for each type of student.

I applied to ten schools. Not ONE other school does admissions decisions like this. This is CRAZY. Mail 'em all on the same day or be transparent about what the heck you are doing! My parents are getting ready to say, ‘Forget it;if they can’t get their act together with notifying students, what else is going to fall short once you get there?’ Nothing here in NV.
