@sumerwashere nah I got into Colorado and a small school and San Diego, I loved the idea of Seattle but I’m just so glad they finally gave me a decision now hahha, what about you?
Has there been any psych majors accepted. My friend is going crazy ever since I got my decision, and he didn’t. He is also OOS, any stats for those admitted for pre-science or psychology would be helpful.
Im very surprised you guys didnt get in with 1800s and 3.5s, I know people who got in this year with a 1650 and a 3.3, I feel like their system is very unfair. Best of luck to all of you!

@mahalia12 if you’re talking about CU Boulder, I got in there as well! Still haven’t heard back from UC San Diego (or UCSB and UCI for that matter) but tbh all of them are way too expensive. I really liked Seattle too… just wanted to ask because you seemed resigned to stay in state now and I know how badly I wanna get out of TX

hello everyone!! in-state here… opened my portal and BAM rejection. almost didn’t see it, but it was there. for all those who got rejected, i believe that appeal is an option?? if you truly want to still attend the uw, that is, and are willing to take the time to do another application. i’m sure if it’s your dream school, it will be worth the effort.
anyway, my stats really are not great due to some personal circumstances that i just won’t touch on here but here goes…

i thought my essays were good?? okay?? they were definitely very personal
i am personally submitting an appeal despite the 1 in 20 odds. and if it doesn’t work out, there’s always 2 year transfer, right??? anyway, i’m sure you all have done tremendous work throughout your life and high school career. don’t let a rejection bring you down!!!
Did everyone’s rejections post around 8:30 or do I need to keep checking? Are they still coming? THIS IS HORRIBLE.
@sumerwashere I want to leave TX so badly it hurts, but you’re right they are all way too expensive, especially UW. I did get into UT (without automatic acceptance bc not in top 7%) which made me think I would get into UW but I guess not:/ so I think I’ll just go there because Austin is supposed to be pretty cool. Are you thinking about UT too?

As you can see my stats aren’t all that great, but I believe my essay put it over the top. I realized once I submitted my app that there was one typo which had me crazy worried but I’m glad the admissions office looked past that.

@72soop I’m in state and still waiting on hearing back. I also chose psych for my major (prelaw as my second choice). Haven’t heard any psych majors get accepted yet.

I got CAP’d for UT so, as much as parents wish I would, I’m probably not staying in-state. I got accepted to a few other TX schools but none of them have reputations to match my OOS acceptances so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ seriously though, congratulations on UT that’s a huge achievement!!! and you’ll have an incredible experience there, if that’s where you choose to end up @mahalia12
Still haven’t hit by a wave of acceptance or rejection but I have UC Santa Cruz as my backup anyways so I don’t mind if I get rejected anymore
