Is there a benefit to submitting official scores over self reports?

To get money, I think they need the official score from SAT directly.

Just heard yesterday. accepted OOS for Nursing. Applied 8/23. 3.72 no SAT’s.

S26 is finishing his application this week and plans to have it in by Monday. He’s excited! Roll Tide!

Well, it took him a while to find the time to get things done, but it got submitted last Thursday and he was accepted Monday. We paid the enrollment fee and put in the housing deposit yesterday.

My dd submitted a week ago via common app and hasn’t had any response or portal info yet. A week isn’t a long time but all her other schools sent a confirmation they got her application and almost all of them sent portal info quickly. This is her only rolling admissions school so hopefully she hears before too long. Would be nice to have while waiting for the others.

We are on campus for tours today. They did say they notice it takes longer for them to get the Common App info. Nothing more specific was said but hopefully soon!

DD applied 10/8, all materials submitted by 10/10 and now application is under review. OOS, 89 average (roughly 3.5) and 1170 SAT.

I have received 2 emails personally to me- one was a generic newsletter and one had the subject line Take Advantage of Your Time at UA. Chat GPT told me these are targeted emails sent to parents of likely admits to “warm you up”. Anyone know more about this.

She applied to 6 other schools and this was the only schools to send any emails like this so far.
