No. Even my child who is a NMSF had to apply to the HC.
We keep getting those emails too and mine is NMSF. It’s her main safety and she’s grateful for the scholarship but she’s been so inundated with other apps that she just didn’t want to fill these out.
My son did not apply to HC, but has received an invitation to be a part of the HC as a part of the admit decision besides a merit scholarship (as per the website for OOS merit) and grad school early accceptance. So, looks like they are offering the incentives to help students make the decision. He heard from them around Oct 25th.
