My child just got into Blount too (she was accepted EA). Does anyone know if there is any scholarship $$ that comes with being admitted into Blount?

Blount scholarship: They said there would be a small amount, not until May though. I think there is a separate scholarship form for them once admitted. Assuming details to follow

Yes, like $500-$1,000, so very small generally, and only given once students have accepted and enrolled.

Can’t speak specifically to Blount but my son got an extra $500 this spring through EPIC. He had to apply and write a short essay about what he would do with the scholarship money. I suspect Blount and others have similar opportunities.
The wait is killing me. Got to figure by next week as spring break is the following week.
We just got an email saying scholarship notifications will be released next week (no date) via the crimson portal as well as to the student’s personal email address.

We got the same.
In addition, about a month ago we heard from the local alumni chapter and she responded to a question from them for the alumni scholarships. They said they would make recommendations to the National alumni association, which would send out notifications “later this spring”
Does alabama need to be marked as my top choice for the National merit scholarship?

Portal status update says a decision has been made and will receive a letter in the mail. Is this how Alabama typically notifies or is this a bad sign? Thanks.

Admitted Tide Days – we are waitlisted for 3/25, but in for 4/1. Wondering how to get off the 3/25 waitlist, OR if anyone on this board that is signed up for March 25th wants to switch with us and attend the April 1st session instead (if this is possible?).
Scholarships out. We just got the Presidential we already knew about.
It was unlikely we would get more from competitive.

My son could not go to any of the admitted days. He emailed his admissions counselor and told her what he was hoping to see and she coordinated everything for him.
Where can we find that info? In the mybama portal ?
My daughter got an email this morning. She got the Presidential, which she had. And engineering was included as well. Was hoping for a surprise, but no luck
