yeah me neither, lol.

I just turned my SIR in, pretty much by impulse.

Is anyone here scared to think about UCLA? Well, I wouldn’t say scared, but, intimidated? We’re going to leave our cozy little CC and on to bigger and better things…

^I am, going from big fish in little pond, to little fish in big pond, or however that saying goes. I am so glad I have been given the opportunity, but scared at the same time.

Okay, I joined the group… i found it by typing “kids who got into ucla”… when i put college confidential out front i couldn’t find it. If anyone is looking for roomies there lemme know because i don’t have any arrangements yet. I’m going there for summer school too.

And scared?! Not at all… i’ve been living on my own for 2 years so this won’t be too big of a transition. i’m super excited to go to a real college now. I’m going to be on campus a lot to soak it in.

Anyone doing summer session? I think I’m gonna do sesh C so I can snag some credits while still having a summer

thanks hgraehl for the help !!
i am all excited and feel like i will be going to ucla
although i am leaning towards usc more most of the time

no summer session for me, I am going to relax and be at peace, like the calm before the storm.

^logon to facebook first, then paste this in your url.

warriors man… wth!!!

^wth! indeed.

LOL I dn’t have a UCLA facebook…still waiting for CAL.

kevintech, you can now create a facebook account without being part of a network, and then you can just add cal or ucla later.

as the day for cal approaches i can only think about the more than likely rejection.

ucsb… sigh

So who’s who on that facebook group?

I’m with UCLAri: Renting seems much more profitable for cities such as LA. I mean, if you’re thinking about downing 300k into a condo that appreciates at like 3% a year that’s a terrible waste. I mean, you need about 300k just to get a decent morgage payment. And with 300k in a stable long term investments at roughly 8-10% per year. that’s a min of 24 to 30k per year before taxes whereas 3% of 650k for two years may only be 39k - property taxes and it’s way below the 20% tax rate for income generated from investments.

Renting is the new trend. If there weren’t so many earthquakes, we’d have a ton of skyscrapers like new york in the next 15 years.

lax, im thinkin about summer session too cus i want to double major. im done with finals the second week in may, and i figure i prob dont need almost 5 months for summer, lol. are you pretty sure about ucla, or are you still waitin on berkeley?

congrats bearclaw… what’s your first choice?

I’m still waitin on Berkeley, but I’m pretty sure I’ll end up @ UCLA…I didn’t complete all my Berkeley pre-reqs, plus I really love UCLA campus/sports.

hmm i dont know if i should go to ucla or uci i have had my mind set on uci and now im confused.
