Daughter (OOS) accepted into CS program in College of Engineering. This was my college as well
Very thankful and excited! But, she is unlikely to accept this, as she prefers Purdue Computer Engineering

My S24 also was offered pre-business and Andrew’s Hall. He got DA into Kelly but I understand each school looks at apps differently. We are OOS, 4.0. Strong ECs, leadership.

Same for my son. He prefers Kelley (DA) over Leeds, and is waiting hear from 4 other dream schools so it’s going to be a long wait.

Congrats to your kids on their direct admits to Kelley, an outstanding option! We’re waiting on 7 more and my daughter has a scholarship offer with business major from Denver so no clarity yet.

My D24 was accepted to Arts and Sciences undecided. 4.33 WGPA test optional , many AP’s, multiple varsity sports, volunteer work with international charity -got chancellors scholarship
Definitely one of her top choices so we are thrilled!

How much are these different scholarships? Chancellors, Presidential, other?

I only know OOS Chancellors is about 6k/yr. Brings it down to a tinge less painful, but still painful.

The website actually says they do not use test scores for merit-only GPA and rigor

Makes me think they are also admitting off of GPA. Everyone above seems to have high GPAs and many are TO. My son got deferred. Nationally he has a high SAT, but lower GPA FWIW

I agree with you. Although my son doesn’t have a super high GPA. He has a 3.73 and TO, was admitted for Integrated Physiology. But he has extensive internship in PT and volunteering around his major and HS classes that align with his focus. I do think that major focus is key when they don’t look as heavily at tests.

I stand corrected.

I hate to ask this since I’m sure once someone fills me in, it will be obvious LOL, but google is of no help on this one: What is “TO”??
