Wondering if its expected that there will be more applications to CU this year due to Coach Prime and all the media attention the school has gotten. During the last game the commentators made an announcement that applications are up 41% this year but I don’t know how they’d even know? Would that be 41% already more people applying EA?

Pretty late, no?

Looks like last year it was on Jan 20 - so it’s by Feb 1 and may be earlier than that.

DS24 son and I visited campus last month…quick Denver layover and strike mission to walk the campus and get the vibe… it was Friday before home FB game and not too cold yet…perfect sunny day… buzz in the air… walked Leeds business school and son visited a friend’s dorm…had early dinner on Pearl St (loved it) before the drive back to airport…
We were on our way to UARK-Fayetteville… accepted to Walton School of Business there …
not may posts on this page, still a long while before announcing names I guess…

Leeds

Leeds’ undergraduate program earned its highest-ever ranking today, tying for the No. 18 spot among public schools, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 List of Best Colleges.

Among both public and private schools, Leeds came in at No. 29, placing it among the top 3% of all accredited business schools of all 986 AACSB-accredited programs.

looks like to see past #8 they want you to sign up for “compass” … whatever that is … sorry for the dead end lead.

Colorado seems to admit a lot of people to explorative studies. Not sure how competitive getting into Leeds would be from there.

Just in state?

When my son applied a few years ago, he heard in late January. My daughter is applying this year. She hasn’t heard anything yet, but several of her friends have already gotten decisions. They must do it on a rolling basis to some extent. I think Feb 1st is their end date for the latest anyone applying priority will hear.

I don’t know if this is a factor, but my son was invited to Honors College. We are really hoping my daughter gets Honors College too. Now that I know she has so many friends who have already heard (we are in-state) but she hasn’t, I am wondering if maybe they hold the decisions longer for Honors College contenders either so they can get the overall profile they want in Honors College or maybe because they have some sort of extra step for those applications? That may have nothing to do with it though. Just speculating.
