Agree. The lack of activity on here is surprising. My son also applied to Indiana, VT, and JMU - all with much more speculation on decision dates. Good luck to all!

S24 felt the portal astrology for the Pitt portal made the acceptance anticlimactic. I’ve been banned from anymore portal speculation

He does want me to let him know once decisions are out.

The accept/decline buttons show up a day or two in the portal before a letter in the document center. Then 10 days later a personalized video is emailed.
My kid is patient and doesn’t check the portal unless there is an email notification so the video would probably have been his acceptance notice.

I wonder if it’s because the acceptance rate it so high at approximately 80%?

Not sure. IU and JMU have similar acceptance rates. I feel like it will start to ramp up here as we get closer to decision date.

Is it usually Fridays? Any idea when LY was released?
Last year Boulder released on Friday 1/20, so I kind of think that this year it will be 1/19. However I did read that apps are up 30% so not sure if that will change anything about release dates or acceptance rates!

I just saw the flow chart that was on the bottom of the portal disappear. Anyone else? There use to be a chart where it said application is complete and under review.

same here! progress line is gone… haven’t checked in a while so not sure when it disappeared.
