I wouldn’t take it that way. Just likely means the application has not been processed yet

If experience with other schools is a reasonable guide, people will often see these kinds of seemingly meaningless tweaks in the days / week leading up to the announcement. It has been explained that when AOs or individual schools review an application, their access to it sometimes trigger minor changes to the portal appearance.
With few exceptions, these “tells” have historically told literally nothing. They have not only been to admits, deferrals, denials, but rather everyone on a rolling basis in the final weeks.
CU is a strong first choice for my kid and I’d love a sign or signal, but I’m virtually certain that this is meaningless.

My dtr’s timeline is also no longer there, on her portal…we are OOS if that plays into it. And I realize it could be meaningless but it’s still fun

I don’t see that either on my son’s page. He still has the checklist/list of received materials, nothing has changed.
Boulder was a very solid target for him so now I am stressed!!

I have learned the hard way not to interpret this stuff. It likely has zero correlation to the admissions decision.

No, it’s not there on the portal. My dtr is OOS w a 3.49 or a 3.66 if they saw the first quarter (4.0) update. I thought it was a safety but not so much now…

It’s been the #1 school for my kid since 8th grade. He’s had an indirect, non-linear journey though high school. Improving grades (albeit starting from a place where improvement would be the only possible direction), decent test scores and an incredibly heartfelt, detailed and compelling essay explaining it all. I’m obviously biased but I sure would love to see him get in.
Particularly with the apparent surge in applications, my guess is that he’ll be deferred but we’ll see soon enough.
