I hope this doesn’t mean bad news
My OOS daughter got in, with merit, but was placed in Exploratory Studies and not Engineering.
So that’s good but that sucks because their engineering had her first choice of major.
For reference, she has already been accepted for Engineering at Clemson and Colorado School of Mines, both with merit. We are a little shocked because her stats are above range for accepted Engineering students at Boulder.

Did they have the new button on the Home screen to submit updated test scores prior?
There was a letter for my daughter after the video that included some scholarship money. I’m shocked b/c big sis with similar stats didn’t get any. Maybe lil sis applied and big didn’t?

My OOS son accepted into Political Science with a Chancellor’s achievement scholarship. Was hoping for more, but we’ll take it!

Merit awards are in the acceptance letter.

Does Boulder put you into exploratory if you are not accepted to your major & they want you or do they do a deferral or waitlist in that case?
