Hoping for Direct Admit to Leeds. He has AP Calc this year and took AP Stats last year so hoping that helps.
When do they usually tell?
For EA it’s mid-late January. They said by Feb 1.
Will be applying OOS- test optional likely to communications/ media/ PR. Wondering if any merit is given for OOS- 4.0 unweighted will have 4 AP classes , leadership, volunteering , numerous clubs - no sports
All the best. It is not clear whether the student profiles for Leeds on their website is for direct admits. If it is, then he is a competitive candidate.
Just dropping by to say hello to everyone else waiting on this school for their kids.
My daughter applied on 8/1, but is still waiting on the LOR from her teacher.
That must be frustrating that they haven’t gotten it in yet.
My daughter checked in with the teacher, and he says he’s working on it. I think they just see the due date of November 1, and then don’t really see/think too much beyond that. It’s a large public high school, And most students attend in-state schools which don’t accept recommendations or test scores.
I don’t think the teacher is being negligent. He probably thinks it’s weird that my daughter would even applied so early. Before school even started. Most students at our school don’t opt for any rolling admissions or early action. We are definitely outliers in that way!
Good luck to everyone!
So no rolling admissions? We are seeing more of that this year.
As far as I know, Boulder does not do rolling admissions.
CU Boulder does not offer rolling admission. In past years, in-state EA results were released first a few days before OOS, mid-January, sometimes with a small batch of top in-state students some time in December, but there would only be a couple of in-state batches, not rolling.
okay… did you guys see it… on the application status page there is now a new header showing " New application status page coming Dec. 3. Stay tuned!"
Crossing fingers! Sko Buffs.
That would be much earlier than expected for decisions but crossing my fingers it’s more than just a new “status page”
Interesting. The EA deadline isn’t until 11/15, so I can’t imagine they would release decisions as early as Dec 3.
It reads as New Applicant Status Page coming Dec 3rd stay tuned.
Ah, got it.
I think they’re just redesigning the webpage
