University of Colorado Boulder Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

Just got this email from Boulder:

“We apologize for the confusion caused by our recent email. It mistakenly mentioned next steps for your “admitted” student. This was an error and we apologize for not catching it before sending. We ask that you please disregard that line. We are still reviewing your student’s application and will email your student when there is an update to the status of their application.”

Same!! Was excited for a minute before I saw the follow on one

There is no way on the heels of that they’re going to come out with responses today. I’d be checking everything to make sure no more mistakes even if it took extra time.

It may have been an error, but it seems like there might be something to it. Sadly I have an OOS engineering applicant but did not get the email

I just looked and that’s what we received too - applying for scholarships.

yes

I was wondering- did the people who didn’t get the first email not receive the second?

this is a great question!

Good question. My OOS S25 received both the “Your admitted student” email and the follow up correction email. He did NOT receive the other Scholarship email that was apparently sent out on Wednesday.

Edited to add that we did not apply for FAFSA.

My OOS kid received the scholarship email but not the one sent out yesterday.

I’m not sure about my son but I received all 3—one on Tuesday to remind my son to apply for scholarships then 1 yesterday about financial aid and scholarships plus the follow up email that said the admitted language was a mistake.

We received all 3 plus stuff about Leeds, which he applied to. They seem to send a lot of emails to both student and parents.

Parent of an OOS Engineering applicant, 1550 3.99/4.91 W/UW. Neither he nor I have received any of the emails. Hmm.

Our S25 is a competitive OOS Aerospace Engineering applicant.

We received the scholarship email, but not the “accidental” You’re Accepted email.

My OOS daughter received all three. I have been confused why they are encouraging people to sign up for scholarship workshops so close to the acceptance deadline, as it seems like it would be a waste of time and energy for applicants who don’t get in.

We received all 3 emails, one on Wednesday about a scholarship workshop, and then the two yesterday with the admitted student wording and the follow up email. We have not submitted FAFSA yet.

My daughter is OOS high stats engineering major applicant but didn’t receive any of the 3 emails

We’ve received all 3 emails.

hmm. could it be tmr?
