“We apologize for the confusion caused by our recent email. It mistakenly mentioned next steps for your “admitted” student. This was an error and we apologize for not catching it before sending. We ask that you please disregard that line. We are still reviewing your student’s application and will email your student when there is an update to the status of their application.”
There is no way on the heels of that they’re going to come out with responses today. I’d be checking everything to make sure no more mistakes even if it took extra time.
Good question. My OOS S25 received both the “Your admitted student” email and the follow up correction email. He did NOT receive the other Scholarship email that was apparently sent out on Wednesday.
I’m not sure about my son but I received all 3—one on Tuesday to remind my son to apply for scholarships then 1 yesterday about financial aid and scholarships plus the follow up email that said the admitted language was a mistake.
My OOS daughter received all three. I have been confused why they are encouraging people to sign up for scholarship workshops so close to the acceptance deadline, as it seems like it would be a waste of time and energy for applicants who don’t get in.
We received all 3 emails, one on Wednesday about a scholarship workshop, and then the two yesterday with the admitted student wording and the follow up email. We have not submitted FAFSA yet.
