University of Connecticut Class of 2028 Official Thread

Your son received an acceptance email?

That is not true. I’m sure some people who don’t live too far may do that, but the vast majority stay on campus. We live in CT and know plenty of kids at UCONN Storrs who love it and only come home as much as you’d expect any college student to come home for a visit.

In what format? Just checked the portal and no indication.

proof?

Does anyone know if merit aid will be rolled out along with acceptances? Or do we have to wait longer for that?

From other posts based on past years it sounds like same time or next day

Fyi, there was an announcement posted last night in the students link that said peoplesoft was going to be down from 4:30-7:30am today. I wonder if that means they will be updating everything today.

UConn looks like a really nice campus. Plus homemade ice cream on site and snow. This sledding video looks like so much fun. Would like to hear more about student life and fun that happens on weekends.

Anyone else unable to log in to their portal?

Also unable

I can still get in

Can get in. No updates.

I can’t get in either

A few minutes ago it wasn’t doing anything and now it’s bringing us to an error page.

Applicant portal working for us.

I have twins who both applied to UConn and when I checked the huskyct.uconn.edu site the other day I was only able to get in for one of them, and got an error message for the other one. I just tried it again for the one who had previously gotten an error message and now we are able to get in for her as well. No clue if this means anything, but hopefully a good sign for the one who couldn’t previously get in to huskyct.

never mind

What site is this? This doesn’t look like the format of the applicant portal.

https://login.uconn.edu/cas/login

Is it a bad sign NetID Single Sign On - CAS – Central Authentication Service doesn’t say admitted anywhere? I’m not sure if this was proven in past years.
