University of Delaware Early Action for Fall 2024 Admissions

Yeah it not a great web site design. Same size and color button in the same spot with the same font

I can’t imagine it would affect merit and/or financial aid, given that you’d have to really look for it. :woman_shrugging: I just don’t know.

Yeah, it is weird in terms of the design. Although it is much, much nicer looking from an aesthetic standpoint than the majority of admissions portals we’ve seen!

Where is the financial aid button? I don’t find it on my page ? Nothing has changed for me since submission - says application is complete and under review

On portal, under acceptance info, and right next to the “submit your decision button”

Anyone get any news at 5pm?

Nope

Yes- son in-state received acceptance today.

Oh, whoops! My bad!

No not at all! I realize we weren’t being specific. Seriously, congratulations to your son!

Still trying to figure out what that button meant. Last year my son received a merit offer, and he never had any such “form” to fill out. Also, he was notified of both merit and honors in November. Not sure if it was his stats or just a change in the system.

On the comparison site that Road2College runs, none of the thirty people who reported being acceptance have reported any merit awards as of yet.

Son deferred (sort of). Got a letter saying that because he applied to a competitive major (business) and they got a deluge of applications, they want to see mid-year grades (thank goodness he did very well first semester).

So
.we wait longer.

Sigh.

Got into Penn State - UP (main campus) for the Fall and 5 other schools with merit money. So, a little surprised.

Request for grades From UDel?

Not uncommon. Happened to my son. He heard on March 1 and I am happy to say he graduated last May. He was business as well. Don’t lose hope; great business program with connections to great companies. Suggest sending a letter of continued interest to admissions rep if it is truly a top choice. My son said he would accept offer if they accepted him.
