Your experience makes me feel a little better. So surprised on the deferral (of sorts) from DE with an acceptance to PSU-UP for the Fall. No clue where my son will go, but I’m relieved he has some great options.

Sigh. I was naively feeling hopeful that we had gotten to 3 weeks since admission on the portal (unrelated: it is so weird that metric is on there, particularly when they are missing all the goals related to it).

Did anyone hear new yesterday at 5pm? Acceptance or Rejection? Just wondering if news will come on Friday’s only or can come at random. (Not referring to merit news - just acceptance/deferred/rejection).

nothing we are still waiting for EA decision. we are OOS Maryland. Around Christmas his status page added that he will hear by end of January. Hopefully they are still doing batches each week

Has anyone heard on merit scholarships yet from UD? We are OOSfrom OH, already accepted in Chem E, but the scholarship decision was pushed from end of 2023 to beginning of 2024, 1/2 month gone now

No word on merit so far by anyone.
Odd change in my daughter’s portal today. She was accepted on 11/3 and her portal has reflected 11/3 as her decision release date until today when the decision release date has now changed to 1/26/2024. When I click on the link to view decision letters, it’s her original acceptance letter with the original date of 11/3, but then off on the right hand side of the page is the date 1/26/2024.
Anyone else seeing this? Any idea what it means? We are waiting to hear on merit and honors college so I don’t know if this is related to either of those two things.
No change here but we saw changes a month ago
Just checked, and D24’s portal is also saying 1/26/2024 and under that it says admitted 8 weeks ago. Also waiting on honors and merit - perhaps those will come out on the 26th?

My son has the same new 1/26 date. He was admitted in the first week of December. We are also waiting on merit and honors college.

My D still shows 11/3. But you may be onto something, since 1/26 is a Friday…
My DD #2, direct admit to Lerner Business, is also waiting on merit and honors program info. Like many state flagships, UDel is re-setting their own timelines this year. Even deferring some who’d typically be EA admits. Not what we saw with DD #1 3 years ago, who had several EA offers with merit, honors by Xmas.
More applications submitted per applicant now - although the number of college applicants is decreasing. DD’s classmate applied to 20, yes 20 biz programs! (told DD her parents “made her do it)
