University of Delaware Early Action for Fall 2024 Admissions

I’m thinking it may have gone out to everyone. We are going that same weekend for accepted students day

We did not get so it must not go to everyone

This is from previous years, but it explains the program if it’s the same thing:

Thanks, my D isn’t in those categories. Not sure why she was invited. But she may go to the admitteds event the next day

My son doesn’t fit into any of the categories either and he also received an invite.

My son doesn’t fit in any of those categories either. Wondering what they saw in their apps/essay that made them a candidate for an invite?

That was an old link I found - it’s possible the program changed. You could always call admissions and ask for more information

Someone just asked about Destination Delaware on the parent page and the consensus was that it has filled up already.

Can anyone confirm that UD allows Scholarship stacking? They seem to encourage outside scholarships. Just trying to avoid making my kid apply to a bunch, if it’s not worth it. (and no, we have not received any notice of any sort of aid, merit or otherwise - we are just hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.)

Any word on honors? Nothing on our end.

My son got the invite too and he tried to sign up today and it is full.

I was curious about this too so I called the office of Student Financial Services today and asked. I was told that outside scholarships will not reduce UD merit scholarships but it is possible that outside scholarships could impact any type of need based aid or scholarship.

thank you for that update. that seems like a reasonable answer.
now if we could just get some merit and honors decisions we would be all set…

Still waiting here as well. Was admitted on 12/24. Waiting on honors and merit info.

Keep hearing the info will go out sometime between now and mid March.

Have nursing decisions gone out? Anyone heard?

My daughter heard about nursing decision on 2/2. She wanted nursing, but they gave her Medical Diagnostics (Pre-Physician Assistant) which was her second choice. She will probably withdraw application as she was admitted to other direct admit nursing programs with nice merit. Not going to wait to hear “if” she gets merit for a second choice major:( I wish merit came with decision like many of the other schools.
Good luck:) I would write admissions since seems like decision have gone out and the decisions deadline was 2/15 I believe. Perhaps you are getting good news tomorrow with Friday release! I am rooting for you:)

My daughter received an accepted for nursing on 2/2.

My son was accepted to honors a few weeks ago.
