Is it a problem that my daughter hasn’t heard back yet? 4.2 gpa lots of extra curricular’s and Volunteer hours we are OOS. She is an Elementary Education major and application was complete and under review on Oct 17th.
We have not heard back OOS for the school of Business, 3.7 GPA and many ECs, applying to the business school.
My son got in last night with a 4.0UW, 1570 SAT to chem engineering. Got a nice merit scholarship too
I’m not an expert to give advices, but I think it’s too early to worry. Schools received many apps to review and some may require additional reviewing. You can reach out to adcom about your concerns but I wouldn’t worry yet.
Good luck to your daughter !
My son was accepted yesterday to the business school with a 3.65 and test optional. I think you’re in good shape but I know the waiting is so hard.
My daughter applied on 10/17 and we have not heard either. Hopefully it’s soon! Good luck
Have any international students heard back yet? I applied early September and im still waiting.

Same, still waiting here, OOS in NJ.
OOS still waiting as well, applied 10/24/24
Any updates today? Specifically Honors College notifications.
DC was notified of Honors College acceptance today.
Same! Email to look in the portal, Honors College acceptance. I had heard that it comes with another $5K of merit per year, but no mention with the letter.
OOS or In-State? Congrats!!
OOS, thanks!
My daughter was in honors, got $17,000 a year, didn’t get anything extra for honors college (all of her friends were in honors, no extra $).
S25 OOS admitted in December, a few weeks later got Presidential scholarship, then a couple weeks after that admitted into Honors College. S20, CHEN at TAMU, masters in Engineering now, did an internship at UDE last summer and he loved it. We visited several times last summer, too, and we really liked it. Best wishes to your students
