I looked back in the thread a bit but I didnât see any mention of merit offers arriving with acceptances. My son got a small merit offer - not enough to bring it in line with our in state option, unfortunately, nor enough to be competitive with other offers he has. Just curious if Delaware negotiates merit - anyone know?

I didnât even realize until you said this that he got merit! We went back and looked at financial portal and saw letter there. So excited!

My daughter was accepted the start of November and got her merit today, $13,000 a year.

Merit came today for my student, too. Very thankful to even be considered, but still a hefty OOS COA even after merit. Has nearly full tuition offer to another school, but weâll see how it goes. Will need to visit all of them again.

Does anyone know how they decide when to release Honors decision? Our portal still says something like âwe know you submitted for honorsâŠwe will holler back by mid-March.â
Does merit increase those odds?

My daughter accepted today for marine biology! $3K merit per year. Anyone know if its negotiable? I see wide ranges on this page.

My daughter applied as pre-vet in early October, accepted on November 25th, and just received email for 64K scholarship yesterday .
We are OOS, so it is still fairly expensive for us.
I do not think they do, I had 3 kids apply (and one attend), the merit awards were pretty much what I guessed based on their gpa and test scores. My daughter called to add some awards and asked about merit, they said it was final.
