My daughter was accepted today. She is OOS, no scores submitted, 3.89 weighted, Elem Ed major, submitted app on 10/13. Lots of extra curriculars and comm service.

I would not assume it’s a rejection. They will keep releasing admissions through January. My daughter was accepted with merrit OOS for Psychology with just under a 3.6 two years ago. Good luck!

She picked a different school in the end. It was not a significant amount of merit- about 4K/year, if I recall correctly. We do not qualify for need based aid, so I can’t comment on that. Good luck to you, I hope it all works out!

Typically once a week, Fridays at 5:00. This can change during holidays. My son and others received those decisions the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week.

D25 accepted yesterday. OOS. Test scores not submitted. GPA 4.1. Elementary Education. Some activities outside school and a summer job.

It looks like UD says that they consider gpa out of 5.0 for merit. Does that mean if your school uses a 4.0 scale, they will convert it?

They convert it which is why they use the SRAR.

For those who heard this past Friday, were there any portal changes, or did it remain ‘Under Review’ up until the last minute?

Got an email that said to check portal. The portal was “application under review” before it changed to say “decision
”

None that we noticed on Friday, but we did have portal changes last week. Email came at 5:20.

My daughter did not get an email. She checked Friday after seeing previous posts here and the admission letter was there after 5pm.

I know this is an EA thread but does anyone know if folks who apply regular decision but already have their app in, do they find out soon too? Or do they wait until mid-March? Thanks!

As of 4:30pm Friday the portal said Under Review. Checked at 5:05pm and accepted. No emails telling us to check in fact he still hasn’t received an email. He was accepted to Saint Joseph’s University also on Friday received an email and text telling him to check his portal, was also given merit information. Every college seems to be different with what they do. We have a few more acceptances that we’re waiting on then there will need to be a big decision. UD is my sons number one choice just waiting on merit and honors information from them hopefully soon. Good luck everyone this process sure is stressful sending good vibes for those waiting that this Friday there will be more acceptances.
