Thanks for the heads up @OregonMom2024
S24 got accepted - 33k + 3k. Yay! Both S24 and I loved the school when we toured this summer. I think it will be one of his top four choices.

Accepted pre-business - I am so excited for him! Crimson and Gold Scholarship, plus housing. He is super excited. Still a few decisions to come in, but trending top choice as it has all that he wants.

D24 accepted with the $33K + $3K Chancellor’s scholarship. She loves this school so much, but its not as good a match as some of her other options now.

EA is out! My daughter got the $27K presidential merit scholarship plus $3K housing. 4.7 Weighted GPA (3.7 UW), mid 1300s SAT. It’s at the top of her list now, but still have a few more to wait on that don’t come out until March (it will be a long wait!)

My son was accepted with $31K + $3K for housing. He hasn’t toured yet but we will plan to do that in Feb!

EA D24 accepted as marketing major! One of her top choices, not to reach back out to the cheer coach!

My daughter accepted EA & got merit scholarship but not as large as yours!

My daughter 3.5 weighted. Prob why she got the lower merit scholarship. I’m thrilled she was accepted - she did EA

I couldn’t find any information about an official admitted students’ day at DU to visit next spring. S24 did a guided tour visit this summer, but I would really like him to revisit when school is in session, preferably during a planned day for admitted students.

my son’s acceptance letter included a form for him to “accept” the offer of admission. Is it ok for him to accept that even if he has not yet decided what school he will attend?

Unless it was ED, he has still May 1st to accept. I didn’t see any information that putting a deposit gives you better housing choices etc so there doesn’t seem to be any advantage of accepting now if you are not sure.

ok. He was offered a large scholarship, so I wasn’t sure if we needed to indicate acceptance of that

The merit scholarship is part of your acceptance package. He will not lose it as long as he accepts by May 1st. Unless he is 100% sure DU is his choice it is best to wait.
