Attended a presentation by reps from Dundee this afternoon and want to pass on this information to Eu citizens. I was impressed with what was said and the cost of attendance is room and board only for many students. this is taken from their web page.

Tuition Fees

Families who can afford it currently pay up to £1,150 each year towards tuition fees. The Government estimates that 40-50% of students pay nothing and only those whose family income is more than about £30,500 p.a. after allowable deductions, pay the full amount.
Students who study in Scotland do not usually have to pay a contribution for the final year of a degree course in Scotland where their period of study is generally a year longer than the comparable course in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
All of the above is currently under review by the Scottish Executive for 2006 onwards.
