Apparently it worked a few years ago on the Wendesday before. I personally can’t get further and i’m trying to figure out if it’s cause I got rejected or just because they fixed this hint.

I think they fixed it. No one on reddit was able to make it work either. They need to give us something lol.

Sharing this again in case anyone is overly worried about this (like me) and wants to track the exact time till it comes out!: Countdown Timer – Countdown to Feb 23, 2024 6:00 pm in Gainesville, Florida

Under 48 hours!

Just under 7000. I believe it may be around 6700 from what I’ve heard.

The 6700 number is the people on campus freshman year. I think the remaining number to get to 8,000 are Pace or similar program people. But they about double that amount to admit because they have a 50%ish yield rate. So about 16,000 admits on Friday.

Yeah, 15,700 or so admits last year, but I believe this was just for summer/fall to get to 6,700. With Pace/IA the total admits may be more like 18k-20k.

Florida public universities have not used affirmative action since 1999

Do you know what the yield rate is for PACE offers?

no sorry. I know very little besides what the common data set says.

Do you know if they consider Pace in the acceptance rate. Because 20k out of 65k applications is around a 30.7% acceptance rate which seems really high. Maybe acceptance rate will be up this year? Probably wishful thinking on my part lol.

I got to a high school with 19 in my class and I know for sure that none of them are applying to UF so i’m good on that front. I live in Washington state so I don’t think that many people are applying from around here with the distance. I hope that works in my favor. I’m probably more worried about this than I should be lol. I think I have pretty good odds when I think about it logically being first gen and stuff with high stats, but my brain always goes to worst case scenario and finds all the reasons why it won’t happen. I’m so weird like that lol.

yes, you have many stats both in & out of control, yet all in your favor. You should be fine. Good luck.

Did you try to click housing application? And log into as an admitted student.

Took me a bit to track this down. This is from an admission counselor regarding last years UF cycle-

I read this as 15,600 summer/fall admits, plus 2,800 Pace and 650 IA. That is 15,600 + 2,800 + 650 = 19,050 (rough numbers). I don’t think the Pace/IA offers are counter in the 15,600, and probably aren’t counted in the acceptance rate (but I could be wrong on that one).
