Deferral is not that bad, is it?
From what I can tell, withdrawal gone yesterday and back today is admitted. For the moment, lets not worry about rejection since that is much easier to cope with, a cotton candy handed to you later could taste just as sweet if not more, tick tick tickā¦

Deferral at UIUC isnāt bad at all, unless of course you were really really sure of acceptance.
They come back with a decision by Feb end, which is a month sooner than RDs at other schools, so while still a wait, but not that long.

Do decisions start rolling in ~half an hour?
Does anyone know if they pull a Purdue and drop the acceptances first?

Someone mentioned (based on last year) they come out around 3.30 PM Central. You canāt miss it, there are many of us who keep checking
