I saw another student posted about LAS honors in another site but still haven’t heard anything about engineering. I’m not sure if it’s gone out and my daughter didn’t receive it?
No email or signals of any kind here, but that doesn’t really prove anything. (Though I would be surprised if he doesn’t qualify with his A GPA and 1590.)

p.s. According to the reddit discussions, it seems that HC notifications are sent out for engineering around when RD decisions come out. This year that is 2/28/25.

Yeah my daughter was weight listed for honors at Purdue with a 35 ACT. Who knows.

It seems that scholarship letters went out over the last few days. We were pleasantly surprised with a President’s Award Program Scholarship. Did not expect this as student is in state.

A snail-mail letter?
I just called the Honors College (general UIUC honors) - they are already sending out rounds of invitations to their [campus-wide] program, but will continue with more rounds through late April, regardless of admission early or regular. They also said that if we’re hearing from specific colleges’ people (e.g. business, LAS) then that could be the department-specific “James Honors” programs, and those go out differently and separately from college to college.
She also gave me the number of the financial aid office to call re merit aid dates, but they’re not open yet.

No, she received an email yesterday letting her know she received a scholarship and it said to check her portal for the letter. It was in one of the drop down boxes on the right side under “Scholarships”

Maybe they’re releasing in batches? My daughter’s showed up after she accepted.

Oh interesting. My son can’t accept anywhere near now, because he hasn’t heard back from all his colleges yet.
My daughter just told me her friends who have not accepted yet also received scholarship notification yesterday as well.

The drop down menu on the right - only shows dashboard, profile, log off - don’t see scholarship. Is this where you would see it?
I think it varies. I’ve seen anywhere from $1500-5000

Go to myillini … Click on “status of application”, that brings you to the freshman admitted checklist … there is a list of items under “Congratulations on your admission to Illinois!” Click on “scholarships”. That may only be there if your student received a scholarhsip??
