Is it possible to receive college honors after receiving campus honors?
Anyone know about the James Scholar Program in the College of Media? Internship opportunities, other networking? Trying to compare Radio/TV/Film opportunities.
I think only the following years?
Iām seeing others on the parent page and on Reddit saying they got invited to Grainger honors so Iām assuming my daughter isnāt getting an email.
Nothing here, but are you seeing multiple or just that one on Reddit? Because I was suspicious of that one poster from three days ago since when I actually called them, they said it hadnāt gone out yetā¦
There were two parents on the UIUC parent page asking about James Scholar for their engineering students so I think it did go out for some at least.
ok, that makes sense
Received the invitation to James Scholar Honors program last week. Accepted to CS+Physics.
Congratulations! Was it an email? Are you in-state?
On email, Yes. International student
Emails for James Scholar Program went out for the College of Media.
anyone have predictions for deferred students this friday (eng)? Feeling the chances are sooo low
Rejection is easier to be dealt with as that saves me an OOS cost headache
Read that acceptance rates are decently high for deferred students in RD. Some said up to 50%. Hoping thats the case
Heard they over admitted last year⦠still hoping tho
Any portal astrology for RD? Anyone see anythin when clicked withdrawl form? Mine says Not elegible. Dont know if this is good or bad.
My twins applied RD - one to Engineering (has slightly better stats) and another for Business⦠It is a very hard reach for both . The Eng kid has still the withdrawal option (has slightly better stats) while the Business kid has the not eligible to withdraw message- happened today. We are expecting a rejection and would be shocked if either one of them is accepted.
Looking at the pattern from EA, withdrawal still there is waitlist in RD( deferred in my case) and no withdrawal is either admit or reject
If I remember correctly for my DD, the withdraw option was disabled until the day before decision.
In the morning of decision date, it returned for everyone. DD was admitted.
Disabled as mean ānot eligibleā?
