University of Kent?

Hi everyone! I am wondering, how good is University of Kent? I am an International student so I am not exactly familiar with the reputation of UK schools. I would be doing an International Foundation Programme for the first year, then majoring in Law. After I will go to law school for international law. How good is this schools law program? What’s the area like? How do international students pay for their loans after college? Any information at all on the school would be great!

Thanks :)

Kent is a very respectable university, though not top notch.

Canterbury is meant to be a nice town (though I confess I’ve never been), and very student-centric.

There are no loans available from the UK government for international students, so how you will pay will depend entirely on the loan that you do choose to take out. The only exception to this is if you count as an EU student (a matter of residence, not nationality) in which case you’re eligible for a tuition fee loan only.
