Has anyone ever heard of a Spring admit/Fall connections person in an LEP?
I think I’m getting rejected and have no new tabs but still have the cancel button if that means anything
It’s an app where kids post profiles, join school chats and look for roommates. Pretty widely used.

The two kids I know from my area who were spring admits in the past few years were not admitted into their LEP. But that’s a very small sample, so I don’t know if that’s true in general. You’ll know tomorrow, so good luck!

Honestly - every year we have parents and students trying to "break the system - and after decisions are out - they say - nope, that wasn’t right. All this guesses as to what this or that meant - there was no signal at all.
I think you wait until decisions are out - and not trying to guess - because until you get the decision, you don’t know. And otherwise you’ll drive yourself crazy.
It can just be a system update you are seeing - and nothing more.

Only showing Fall 2024 tab. OOS, Biological Sciences: General Biology which is a LEP Program. Eeek.

I’m copying the wording exactly off of the FB Parent page: " Though Spring admitted students cannot be directly admitted to most LEP majors, there are exceptions for some LEPs within the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences/Arts and Humanities. Communications falls into this category."

There are UMD admissions officers here on CC. It’s possible they read these comments and realized they had showed their hand early and had the tech folks fix the portal
