They are different. Freshman connections requires you take classes at off peak hours. Beyond that , everything else is the same, but i would assume no LEP programs or honors college

Just got an error message when logging back in to the TAP portal. Maybe things are changing - more notifications?

Lots of kids do freshman connection and no one knows or cares, itā€™s just one semester but they still live on campus, classes count, etc itā€™s just they are later. Itā€™s a great program. (I have a current Junior)

Right now its only spring admits rolled out, if you havenā€™t gotten yours im assuming your either accepted or denied, and those decisions should come in the next hour

also rejected oos from UNC just now and in at Maryland but looks like a Spring '26 admit!
