at what time does maryland usually release decisions?
When will Maryland release decisions?

The thread last year was speculating that it came out at 4:45 PM but there never was a confirmation on that, I think. Googling it, Reddit a couple years ago said 5-6PM EST too, so probably around that time.

Honestly my uneducated opinion is that it will be the 31st just for the sole fact that they usually release late and the last Friday of the month. Although I can see why it’s tomorrow cause of the terp bus and stuff but idk
I mean probably tomorrow given the “signs” but also could be 1/31 
I thought it would be today but read something on Reddit about the terp bus going out earlier than it should have bc of a marketing schedule issue. So now I’m back to thinking 1/31. I guess we will know soon enough

There is someone from UMD CMNS admissions here who is very helpful on these threads. Understandably, they are not posting right now because they can’t comment on the timing of decisions. But once they are released and people have questions, this person is very helpful in responding to posters.

boy it is quiet here today (compared to UMich and UW Madison). If the decisions come out today, what time are we thinking? After 5pm Eastern time?

Definitely going to be today. Housing portal for admitted students opens at 6 pm today per their website. Guessing they will announce at 5 pm!

Last year they started rolling them out at around 4:30 with spring admits first

I’m just wondering cause Wisconsin Madison isn’t coming out today and usually it’s last Friday of jan
Wisconsin, Illinois, UMD and a couple of other B1G schools release on the same day.
Not sure if that’s today or next Friday.
In the past it’s been the last Friday of January, but typically there are only four Fridays in January (unlike this year), so the past dates could also be interpreted as the fourth Friday of January.
