Only posting for Green Dot data. My son never had a green dot and applied RD. Accepted into Civil Engineering.
I didnāt get any financial aid yet. I thought Miami meets the needs of the accepted students. Will I get the aid or no?

D was EA deferred. application for fall said canceled. Yes she got in for spring. The letter came at 7pmā¦

Some schools let students still move in fall and take classes, does UM do this??
D was EA deferred with a green dot that disappeared for the last several weeks and was still gone all day yesterday. She was accepted for F '19 - 3.98 WGPA/1430 SAT.
Did anyone who applied RD or who was EA deferred get merit aid from UM? Mine did not but has gotten merit aid from every other school she applied and get accepted to.
@SpartanDrew Do you mean the acceptance letter from Miami proper or was there a separate acceptance letter from Frost?
Because the regular acceptance letter just said accepted as undergraduate in music. Also, maybe our Ds can connect! Iām sure mine would love some information about the school and CAM if she gets into it! For the record: never had a green dot and admissions letter came at 4:20 PM
@joeycorp right Dās letter last year was just accepted undergrad music. If you email Karen Kerr she will tell you if your D made CAM. FYI my D ended up going to the New School. Curious, is your D a MADE major and if so did she get any merit money? I also have a theory (In addition to my green dot theory that panned out) that MADE majors get little to no money.

@cml123 . I think it depends on the cohort. Course offerings being what they are, some cohorts move together for degree works to ensure class support, retention, and successful graduation.

@raej3west my son received Presidentās Music Scholarship ($32k/year)ā¦not sure if this is what youāre asking about.
@SpartanDrew Thanks. Weāll email Karen today. No sheās not MADE - sheās BA Music with classical voice as her primary instrument. $10k/year scholarship and no financial aid which we need. So this is tricky. And itās her first choice tho that may change if she doesnāt get CAM. She wanted someplace she could do all of it. You may be right that they save the big bucks for instrumental or VP majors.
