but i canāt just visit umiami any day i want like itās a big trip. i feel like thatās really unrealistic and unfair if we got deferred just because they believe we didnāt show interest by visiting campusā¦ i mean thereās no supplement essay to express interest.
Also tbh i would much rather they reject me now than waiting for two more months only to see another rejection likeā¦

@student1151 thatās actually false, seeing as early decision is the way to show the absolute MOST interest they wouldnāt need to track demonstrated interest only with the most interested applicants. Private schools like Tulane and Miami care about demonstrated interest from applicants of all types. Iām not saying itās fair but it is what it is
There are other ways to show demonstrated interest besides visiting, write your AO an email and explain how much you want to go. It canāt hurt

@sagh527 I agree, Iāve been crying/upset ab it since seeing my decision I donāt know how I can handle being straight up rejected after waiting againā¦ ik itās not the end of the world and Iāll end up where Iām supposed to be but itās still brutal. Iām very happy tho for those accepted congrats!
