Theres no date given, just late February. Last year was 2/23 so maybe 2/21 or they push it to next week? Hopefully this week.
Thanks! I’m hoping it’s this Friday as well
My DC signed up for a virtual student panel and asked about the two types of events. The mini has the info session, tour, lunch in the dining hall and presentation in their school. The full event has all of that, plus a sessions (or maybe tables) for lots of other parts of the school (financial, housing, greek, etc).
I highly recommend the virtual student panel. There were two students who spent an hour answering questions from a small group. The two who led our group did a very good job of answering the questions and giving examples that could help DC understand what it’s like to actually be a student at the U.
Will ED2 be tonight?
Have you heard that it might be today??
No, but past years was Feb 21 and Feb 23 BUT they were the last Fridays of Feb…
I heard decisions are out as of 4:30pm.
ED2 decisions are out as per their IG.
Anybody who was deferred and then went ED2 get in?
Yes! My daughter was deferred EA and accepted for Fall ED2!
For those who were admitted into Frost, do we know when we might receive scholarship information? Is it right when regular decisions are released or after? I know that RD says by April 1, but I thought I read somewhere that they tend to come out mid-March. Does anyone know if this is true? Sorry for all the questions!
Hi! I did a virtual event this past week and they said by mid-March for Frost Merit!
This is fantastic! Thank you for the info.
Does anyone know what the costs might be for a florida resident that qualifies for FAS? I heard FAS provides a approx 6000 scholarship? Thank you!
I’ve heard the same. FAS would be equivalent in-state tuition at a FL public university, which averages just over $6k a year (at least for FIU), but I don’t know how that gets applied to UM. We’re wondering the same thing.
does anyone know the exact date regular decision is coming out?
The FAS is applied to tuition the same as a grant. Just deducted from the total. I think it’s $6930 for fall. UMiami offers zoom one on ones with financial aid advisors, it was a 15 min session that was very informative! Highly recommend.
Thank you! I was looking at those sessions, so it’s great to know they were very informative!
I believe it’ll be mid-March… maybe next Friday? That’s what a friend told me, and she got that info during her son’s audition.
Is regular decision confirmed for today?
