My D25 has not received anything regarding Premier scholarships. I believe Stamps semi finalist candidates were notified within the past week, because there is a required interview as part of that process. At least one of them applied TO, so test scores don’t appear to be a deciding factor for the U Miami Stamps candidates.
Rumor is that the other scholarships will be awarded during the EA release, but who knows?

I know Stamps semi finalist notifications went out between last Thursday and Saturday. Those candidates have to schedule interviews to move on in the competition. My D25 did not receive an interview invitation, but I’ve come across other candidates who received interview invitations. Wishing them good luck!

Any buzz? A few other “late January” schools are starting to send out hints, but I haven’t seen anything for the U. Should I accept that it will be Jan 31 and stop looking for clues?
The University of Miami hasn’t sent any emails that I’ve gotten. Possibly a very bad sign.
they sent an email back on the third as a reminder to make sure you can access your portal but thats all the info ive gotten

Do they post that EA will release on their website or other social media, or just send notice by email to check the portal? Anyone know how they handled ED release, and if it’s just same day notice?
for ED, they posted on IG to check your portal after decisions were released.
Anyone know if Miami takes a large amount of EA applicants or whether they fall into the “admit only the cream of the crop in EA and defer a huge chunk to RD” like a lot of other schools are doing (eg, Georgia, Clemson, UT Austin, etc.)? Hoping for an actual decision! And a good one, of course…
At a campus tour last spring they posted a slide with % of enrolled students from each admissions group (Fall 2023 class). I took a picture of it and it was:
26% ED I
11% ED II
47% EA
16% RD
So almost half the class comes from the EA round
I had information from two online college sources that would be by January 25 and thought I saw that’s when they did it last year. Fingers crossed.
The 25th would be AMAZING! Last year it was on the 26 (our students were at the UM Honor Band festival when they found out) but that was also the last Friday of the month. This month we have an extra Friday. When I searched back through other forums, it seems that it’s the last Friday, wherever that falls. But I really hope that’s not the case and it comes out tomorrow because the waiting is killing me lol.
Does anyone know what the acceptance rates are for FROST and how they compare to general UM acceptance rates?
