delete the ?cmd=redirect
Got it now, yes it’s there.
It is posted this morning upthread with a link. Your high school GPA is just that. The college classes show additional rigor. How you your AO views that is up to them.
To see if Michigan will even use your college classes this link is provided. They are very hard on science and math classes transferring.
So they will look primarily at my HS GPA then? I just am afraid how they will recalculate my GPA. I don’t want it to drop because of those B+'s → B’s.
I go to a dual-enrollment school in Ann Arbor. I made sure that the classes I take are transferable. I have 39 transferable credits to LSA.
So I am driving to work and I called Michigan admissions for you. They are so nice and their chat is active now also. They prefer you to take your schools AP /I B classes first then any college dual enrollment. All grades are recalculated to A=4,B=3 etc.
BUT they view the college classes as more rigor…
That is what she told me…
She also told me to tell the applicant to relax… Lol. If your school has a history with Michigan acceptances, you should be fine…
Awesome, thank you so much!
I need to take a deep breath lol.
Daughter just checked the source code. Hers says postponed. Not sure it means anything. This is a reach for her.
The postpone button was talked about earlier in the thread. It’s JS code for postponing further code (don’t make these changes immediately.) I don’t think it’s related to any portal astro.
Every time I delete the ?cmd=redirect it still redirects me. How do you guys delete that?
delete that portion when you get to the view source page
I thought that initially as well, but if you see under the #postpone button, the color shown is that of michigan maize, I believe it is the button for an applicant’s eventual postponement.
Someone might look back at Michigan post from 2019-2020 to see what kind of portal astrology is actually telling. I might have the specifics wrong, but my memory is that in that year admitted students had a request for final grades and deferred/rejected students did not.
At that time, EA decisions were released in December, so you would want to go look at mid-December to find the discussion. It held true for everyone in CC and for the people I knew in real life.
I believe that “tell” was no longer visible the next year, but can you see anything like that in the code?
The Kraken is stirring…
Maybe a Thursday surprise? (I remember the moderator saying the cube is a signal they are ready to release)
Everyone has it it doesn’t mean anything
everyone has the postpone?
What time would Michigan send an email saying decisions are released tomorrow?
3pm est
Does anyone know if the cube pic was posted the day before or the day of admissions results last year?
This is my question too! I went back and looked on both FB and Twitter - they must delete the posts each year after they make them, because there are no cube posts in Jan 2023. Well played, U-M!
